SuperLattice
SuperLattice documents the creation of a hybrid structure that combines human perception with computational methods of processing information. The works in this digital exhibition document my early experiments combining computational models and diagrammatic form and manipulating these with poetic intent. The images progress chronologically and showcase a transformation of understanding and developing methods of working with SuperLattice to fully incorporating SuperLattice as a creative methodology in my work.
A more detailed description of SuperLattice and it’s development can be found at: www.superlattice.ca

Dan Tapper explores the sonic and visual properties of the unheard and invisible. From revealing electromagnetic sounds produced by the earth’s ionosphere, to exploring hidden micro worlds and creating imaginary nebulas made from code. His explorations use scientific methods alongside thought experiments resulting in rich sonic and visual worlds.
