CHRISTINE BAILEY, 4TH YEAR, STONG POND STUDY DOMES, DIGITAL, 2021 - The domes provide a relaxing space for students to use as study area year round to enjoy the seasonal changes at Stong pond and the arboretum bringing utility to the underused area of campus.

CHRISTINE BAILEY, 4TH YEAR, I MISS YOU, STRING INSTALLATION, 6” X 4”, 2020 - A way to portray a “ghost-like” presence of students utilizing a school retail space as if the student center was still open. To consciously, or subconsciously, enable the art to exude a sense of normality and connection once again on campus.
CHRISTINE BAILEY, 4TH YEAR, MOTHER HORDE, RECYCLED FOUND OBJECTS, 5" X 3", 2020 - A juxtaposition between a natural and manmade settings. Uses recycled materials to construct mushrooms that look like a computer’s mother board to simulate the integration of manmade and natural communication systems.

It relies on the viewer discovering the work, and through observation and interaction, realizing that these are not natural fungi, but man-made objects.

It relies on the viewer discovering the work, and through observation and interaction, realizing that these are not natural fungi, but man-made objects.
ASHA CABACA, 4th YEAR, FUNGAL JUNGLE: THE ONCE AND FOR ALL, 3D MODEL AND DIGITAL RENDERING, 2021 - This hypothetical installation emphasizes the neglect and “death” of the York University sculpture garden, which is at the end of its lifespan (the courtyard will be destroyed with the construction of the new AGYU in 2022).
